Peculiarities

Most cats kill their prey/toy prey by biting. Do I have the only two in the world that drown it in their waterbowl?

And Rosa has just eaten, with a certain semblance of enjoyment, some of my toenail clippings. This may be the most repellent thing you've read all year.

This isn't (apparently) unusual, although I thought it was pretty bloody weird when Mooncake started doing it (usually in the canned food bowl). I looked it up, and it emerges that they consider their feeding place to be safe territory, so they store their toys there.

Unfortunately, Mooncake regards my earrings as toys.
