Today I had one of my periodic attempts to introduce the cats to the joys of cheaper cat food. I'm still trying to remove the ensuing stains from the hall rug.

Not so clever now
You thought you could save a tidy sum each month, didn't you, by switching us down to a cheaper supermarket cat food. Thought we wouldn't notice. You probably even allowed yourself to think what you could do with that extra £15. A meal out maybe, or even just food.
Think again. What made you think the current economic climate is in any way our fault?
We've eaten it, which we consider a major concession, albeit a short term one. But how are you feeling about the twice daily vomiting? Or what about spending your evenings having to trim shit and carpet fluff dags out of our butt fur and then chase us round the flat trying to wipe our filthy backsides? Is that worth £15 to you?
Thought not. You may go to the pet shop this morning.
