Feet

Amongst their many peculiarities, the cats seem to have a thing about human feet. Mits likes picking them up with both paws and nibbling all along them, just like a corn on the cob. Rosa prefers wrapping her arms round them and using her rear feet to disembowel them, while simultaneously maintaining significant eye contact.

My take on this was that they are furry little freaks until it occurred to me that I have a bit of a thing about the feline footsie myself. After all, they are uncommonly cute. Just look at Rosa's foot and tell me that it isn't the most adorable thing you've seen in a while.

Perhaps cats feel the same way about human feet?

That is a beautiful foot. That's one thing I am really looking forward to when I maybe have a real job and my own flat - being able to have a cat.

My mother in law's cat used to lie in wait under the stairs for people - just so he could sink his teeth into an unsuspecting foot.
Luteus definitely favours the "kill the foot of the human!" approach, with the wrapping, the kicking, the chewing, even occasionally a bit of cat-growling.

And last night, he also decided that my entirely innocent, just passing-by-the-chair-he-was-in-retrospect-blatantly-not-asleep-on kneecap made the most fantastic chew-toy.

My cat has a fascination with my nose. Specifically rubbing his face against it, lulling me into a false sense of security and the biting it as hard as he can.

Blogger seems to have rotated Rosa's foot by 90 degrees. How odd. Oh well.

Oh, I'm feeling deprived now: my Patsy never did anything with/to my feet. Maybe the next pussycat will...

That's a real pretty foot, that is.
