Yet another reason why I love the French
A late night cat food emergency means that the cats are eating Felix pouches with jelly, beef flavour this morning. One of the few things I like about Felix is the multi-lingual packaging, which I insist on reading out loud to the cats, before the poor little sods are allowed to eat.
The English strapline on the pouches reads, "Yum... it's with beef", the German, "Cool... it's with beef!", the Dutch, "Delicious, it's with beef."
The French merely reads, "With beef."

The tuna version is worse. the German reads 'Thunglaublich! Mit Thun!. Which is like saying 'Astunashing!'
